Each year Catholic Churches throughout the United States take up a special collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. These funds are used to support those programs that address the root causes of poverty. 25% of those funds collected in this diocese are retained in this diocese to support local efforts. Deadline for 2010 grant applications is March 31, 2010. For self-help projects which do not presently meet the above
